Scope of the agreement

This user agreement is a legally binding contract between you and IMEI-Tool relating to the accompanying software (the “Software” or “Software Product”, including any online or electronic documentation). It may only be accepted on the terms set out here.

Using any software and related documentation provided to you by IMEI-Tool in any form constitutes acceptance of these terms.

If you have proposed or later propose terms that supplement, deviate from or conflict with this agreement, IMEI-Tool objects to and rejects them. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding its subject matter, and its provisions shall be interpreted equally by both parties.

Intended use

The software is used to check and analyse IMEI numbers in order to protect you from buying locked or blacklisted devices.

The software may be updated regularly, either free of charge or for a fee. We reserve the right to change or discontinue all or part of the software, temporarily or permanently, with or without prior notice.

Usage restrictions

The software or some of its features may be considered illegal in certain countries. By using it, you confirm that you are familiar with the laws and restrictions of the region or country in which you use the software.

• You confirm that you are the lawful owner of the computer or device on which the software is used.
• You agree that IMEI-Tool is not liable for any damage to you or your device, or for any legal consequences arising from the use, misuse or improper use of the software.
• You are aware that the IMEI-Tool team does not condone and strongly opposes the use of the software for illegal purposes.
• Even lawful use is not permitted if it infringes the rights of third parties.

Limitations

The software and the graphics, sound files and other components contained in the product are the property of IMEI-Tool, which is the sole owner. You may use them only on your own computer or device.

• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, translate, copy, modify or otherwise alter the software or any part of it.
• You may not attempt in any way to obtain the source code of any software provided by IMEI-Tool.
• You are not entitled to transmit the software over a network, by telephone or by any other electronic means.
• If you use software, a software algorithm or an updated version of it – partially, fully or across platforms – you are obliged to indemnify IMEI-Tool, among other things, for property damage caused by such actions.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The software is provided “as is”. IMEI-Tool and the vendors distributing the software exclude all express or implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement of third-party rights.

IMEI-Tool is not obliged to provide support or updates for the software. We do not warrant that the features of the software or the services it provides will meet your requirements, that operation will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. No oral or written information or advice from IMEI-Tool or its suppliers creates a binding warranty. Should the software prove defective, you bear the entire cost of any necessary servicing or repair.

Trademarks and copyright

All trademarks and logos mentioned in the software are the property of their respective owners. Third-party trademarks, product names, trade names, company names and corporate names may be trademarks or registered trademarks of other companies and are used here for explanatory purposes only, without implying any copyright infringement.

Consent to data use

You agree that we may collect and use technical data and related information – including but not limited to technical details about your device, its system and application software and its peripherals – gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support and other services related to the software.

We may use this information, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you, to improve our products or to provide services and technologies to you. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
